An event dedicated to International Children's Day was held at Railway Transport College

An event dedicated to International Children's Day was held at Railway Transport College.

One of the main goals of the event was to create an inclusive environment and organize a special, fun, and educational day for children with disabilities and Down syndrome.

The event brought together art, culture, and educational and interactive activities.

The program included various spaces and activities:

  • A creative space;
  • Georgian folk song and dance performances;
  • An exhibition and sale of artwork created by children with Down syndrome;
  • A photo zone;
  • An entertainment show by animators;
  • Face painting;
  • Balloon crafting;
  • A tour of the college's facilities and hands-on introduction to professions such as locomotive driver and occupational safety specialist.

The exhibition and sale space was decorated by the social enterprise "Babale," established by the "Down Syndrome Association of Georgia." Its founders and members are parents of children and young people with disabilities. The exhibition featured handmade items, ceramics, and various souvenirs.

The cultural program was presented by:

  • The Georgian folk dance ensemble "Kartuli Geni";
  • The Georgian folk song ensemble "Choir of St. Nicholas Church Parish School."
