Registration is currently underway for short-term training/retraining programs at  Railway Transport College.

The programs are fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and registration is conducted electronically via the portal www.vet.ge.

Interested individuals may choose the field of their preference.

Elevators Technical Service and Repair
Admission prerequisite: at least 2 years of work experience as an elevator technician/electrician.

Training is conducted in cooperation with partner organization LLC "Elevator Management and Monitoring Center."

Within the program, you will study:

  • Adjustment of elevator safety components;
  • Placing elevators into operating mode;
  • Elevator technical maintenance;
  • Elevator diagnostics, repair, and dismantling/installation;
  • Analysis of labor, fire, and electrical safety issues.

Warehouse Logistics Specialist
Admission prerequisite: complete general education.

Trainees will complete the practical component in a real work environment, at the warehouse premises of JSC "Georgian Railway."

Within the program, you will study:

  • Rules for the maintenance and storage of warehouse equipment and machinery;
  • Receipt, inspection, and reporting of goods;
  • Internal transportation and storage processes;
  • Ensuring the security of cargo;
  • Marking of goods, loading, and preparation of issuance documentation.

Transportation Control Specialist
Admission prerequisite: minimum age of 18.

The program covers the core mechanisms of cargo transportation control within the transport-logistics chain, traceability of goods and vehicles, and preparation of insurance documentation.

Protection of Employees from Occupational Diseases
Admission prerequisite: complete general education.

The program's aim is to enable trainees to create a safe working environment and prevent occupational diseases.

Within the program, you will study:

  • The musculoskeletal, digestive, respiratory, and sensory organ systems;
  • Assessment of occupational injuries;
  • Methods for controlling occupational risks;
  • Assessment and management of hazards caused by manual labor and mechanical handling.
